The Genesee Valley Orchestra and Chorus, now celebrating its 36th season, is dedicated to providing opportunities for musical growth for its members and enriching the lives of area residents by presenting high quality musical performances throughout the Genesee Valley.

Each year, GVOC presents three classical concerts, with two performances each, one in Fairport and one in Henrietta and one special event concert.  In addition, we continue the “Sing Along” series to reach out to older adults in assisted living facilities and nursing homes.  We also perform annually at the Fairport Gazebo Concert Series.

Raffaele Ponti, internationally accomplished and acclaimed conductor, begins his tenth season with GVOC. Raffaele’s musicianship and charismatic personality connects with musicians and audiences alike, resulting in exciting and inspiring performances!

GVOC, with its combined orchestra and chorus, holds a unique position and strength in presenting great music to the greater Rochester area.
