Thrilling performances of vocal artistry mark careers in the making as international competitors demonstrate the expressive power of the human voice through polished renditions of the most moving classics of opera, art song, and oratorio. Distinguished judges offer constructive commentary in real-time, before choosing the next Classical Idol.

The evening begins at 7:00 PM with a Wine and Cheese Tasting where you can participate in the Silent Auction. Host Julia Figueras (WXXI Classical 91.5 FM) takes the stage as the competition commences at 7:30 PM. Enjoy desserts at intermission, along with coffee and tea in a cabaret setting.

This year’s audience theme: 40’s elegant! Retro gala togs welcome! The Kristen McGuire Trio will swing the great pop standards of the era for intermission entertainment and after-dancing. As the evening draws to a close, vote for your favorite contestant before this year’s Idol winners are announced.
