Rochester Early Music Festival Gala Performance

on Nov. 16, 2018 at St. Ann Catholic Church

Rochester Early Music Festival Gala Performance

This performance will feature Musica Spei and various early music instrumental groups, soloists, and singers. Hear an evening of Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque music in the beautiful acoustics of St. Anne Church. WXXI's Brenda Tremblay will be the emcee for the evening.

The capstone of the Early Music Festival, our Gala Concert celebrates the diversity of early music in the glorious acoustic environment of St. Anne Church. Presented in "prism" format, singers and instrumentalists surround the audience with music, flowing freely and without interruption from one performance to another.  You will experience a broad sampling of the breadth and depth of early music during this two hour concert.  Be sure to stay to meet the artists at a reception open to all after the performance!
