"And Justice for All: A full-length Collaboration with FuturPointe Dance"

on Nov. 3, 2019 at Downtown Presbyterian Church

FuturPointe Dance and First Inversion will perform together with a selection of the African-American Spirituals presented at the September Rochester Fringe Festival as well as new pieces, expanding into a universal justice theme.

The November presentation of "And Justice for All" will include some of the African-American Spirituals from the September Rochester Fringe Festival as well as Joel Thompson's "The Seven Last Words of the Unarmed" and "To the Hands" by Caroline Shaw, among other pieces.  The expanded repertoire of sound and movement expresses both the setbacks and dreams for a continued journey towards universal justice. First Inversion partners with FuturPointe Dance to create a multifaceted performance that will evoke both the pain of the past and the hope for better days to come.
