Kick the winter blahs by joining us for a screening of the double bill: Pietro Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana with Placido Domingo as Turridu and Elena Obraztsova as Santuzza, followed by Ruggero Leoncavallo's Pagliacci with Domingo as Canio and Teresa Stratas as Nedda. This 1982 performance took place at Teatro alla Scala with conductor Georges Pretre. Opera Guild board member Art Axelrod will provide the introduction to the opera.
