
Sarah Joyce Cooper performs a program of Debussy, Cuban Art Song, Italian opera, and traditional Spirituals on Wednesday evening, October 15, 7:00 P.M., at the Shewan Recital Hall on the Roberts Wesleyan University campus, 2301 Westside Drive in Rochester. Admission is free of charge.
Nationally renowned soprano, SARAH JOYCE COOPER, presents a solo recital while she is in Rochester to perform MASS IN BLUE with the Rochester Oratorio Society (Friday, 10/17, 7:30 PM, Hochstein Performance Hall, www.rossings.org). Cooper, whose voice is "sublime--powerful, subtle and memorable," has chosen an Italian aria, song cycles by Debussy and Cuban composers, and traditional Spirituals. Sarah will entertain questions from the audience following the performance. Pianist INES DRASKOVIC accompanies. The recital is co-sponsored by the Rochester Oratorio Society, Roberts Wesleyan University, and the Opera Guild of Rochester.
