Dowland’s songs range from gentle and joyful to deeply moving, with melodies that still feel surprisingly familiar today. The festival includes Songs Old & New, featuring voices, lutes, and viola da gamba, alongside newly commissioned works by Jonathan Woody that place modern music in conversation with Dowland’s timeless songs. Join us later in February as the festival continues for a spellbinding recital by world-renowned lutenist Paul O’Dette.
