As the days grow shorter, we invite you to enjoy musical selections for treble voices that may whisper or shout to you, but will undoubtedly provide a contemplative and moving experience.
Concentus Women’s Chorus presents “Whispers & Shouts,” a program that explores the full spectrum of human emotion and vocal expression. Pieces include a blend of the loud and the quiet, the joyful and the contemplative, and the warm and the cool to honor the transitional seasons of December. From the delicate, intimate styling of a quiet whisper to the powerful, resonant energy of a collective shout, this concert celebrates works by Dan Forrest, Joni Jensen, Englebert Humperdinck, and Zoltán Kodály. Join us for an experience to warm the spirit and stir the soul!
