Upstate New York has an abundance of fine community and professional choruses, providing musical homes for more than a thousand singers. The Greater Rochester Choral Consortium provides a collaborative environment for our member choruses to cooperate by:

• setting concert schedules to minimize potential conflicts
• sharing information and advice to solve common problems
• collaborating on joint projects like the bi-annual PRISM concert and the Rochester Early Music Festival

All of these activities have two common goals:

• to make life easier for our member choruses
• to increase awareness of, and appreciation for, the many wonderful choral resources in our community
